While we had a couple cold days this week, may I offer a little proof that spring is kind of here.
A couple days ago while I was in DC, I went to the Kenwood Neighborhood (in Maryland) to see the Cherry Blossoms. This neighborhood IS THE PLACE when it's cherry blossom time. Here's what it looked like driving in...
Then I wandered around and took a few shots....
I had to do at least one selfie, right? I think it's a law these days.
Everyone was out enjoying the beautiful trees and it turned into pretty much a neighborhood picnic under the blossoms...
And my personal recommendation on how to enjoy the Cherry Blossoms...with a brownie and lemonade....
Just look for the young ladies with the wagon and they'll serve you up!
